The Watershed Management Synthesis Workshop
17 - 20 March 2006Nairobi, Kenya
The foundation of ‘The Difference a Tree Can Make’ campaign was the Watershed Management Synthesis Workshop which brought together 24 ICRAF scientists, collaborators and select external partners to review, debate and synthesize ICRAF research related to key aspects of watershed functions and the impacts of agroforestry, forestry and related land uses. From this meeting, a series of clearly defined messages — supported by the science — were identified as priorities for dissemination.
